Community Outreach

Springfield-Clark
Community Initiative

The Springfield-Clark Community Initiative (SCCI) is a faith-based and neighbor-led effort in Springfield and Clark County with a clear mission: to meet people’s basic needs and restore hope, dignity, and community. SCCI exists to extend compassion in practical ways — food, resources, relationships — to people in our area who need them most.

As part of the Springfield-Clark Community Initiative, Till Plains Fellowship joins with others in our community to meet real needs through three vital programs: Open Hands Free Pantry, Operation Hunger and the Kids’ Weekend Meal Bag Program.

Why It Matters

Through these programs, SCCI is tackling food insecurity head-on while building a community rooted in compassion and generosity. As members of SCCI, we at Till Plains Fellowship see this as a natural extension of our faith in action.
